My Why

Alyssa Flori
Founder & Ideator

I am a firm believer that every book has potential. I also believe that without the right resources, potential can mean nothing.

As a young woman making a name for myself in the entrepreneurial landscape, I understand the challenges that individuals face when trying to enter a new space; when you know you and your idea have the potential but also have what seem to be inescapable barriers standing in your way. Sound familiar? Rumor has it, this applies to authors too.

My experiences have taught me the importance of finding creative ways around those barriers in order to earn my place in a competitive landscape. It is now my goal to support emerging authors with their creative works as they face similar challenges by providing the resources I’ve so often been asked for.

Whether you need support with driving book engagement, creating a custom cause campaign, or managing your outreach efforts, I am committed to creating a custom solution and, (the best part!), taking the work off of your plate.

By collaborating with Flori Fundamentals, you gain more than just a service provider. You gain a partner, one who is dedicated to taking on your challenges as if they were my own.

No book should go unread due to a lack of readers, and no author should be held back from reaching their full potential due to a lack of support and guidance.

Alyssa Flori is the consummate professional. She’s knowledgeable, innovative, and passionate about her work. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Rebecca Miller is a twenty-five-time award-winning author known for her sweeping debut novel Touch, a story about a fragile young relationship between two teens that boldly addresses a critical issue in society while also reminding us of the goodness that remains in the world.

Rebecca began her journey with these characters as a teen herself with a broad interest in psychology. She started penning their story later in life when their voices became too loud to keep quiet.

Rebecca’s path to becoming an author is unique, having been shaped by an early education setback that deprived her of the ability to read for a significant portion of her childhood. This challenge subsequently diminished any initial inclination she may have had toward writing. However, when the characters from Touch unexpectedly invaded her head one day with their compelling message, she recognized that failure was not an option. Allowing their story to unfold in her mind for over a decade, she finally put pen to paper in November 2005, despite lacking any prior writing experience. After a journey marked by learning curves, challenges, rejections, and an unwavering commitment to the belief that hard work, patience, and persistence would ultimately lead to success, she finally published Touch independently in April of 2021.

The entire process, from conception to publication, spanned a twenty-nine-year period, culminating in international recognition and widespread critical acclaim.

Leith C MacArthur was born in Boston and grew up in the suburbs of Wayland, and Waltham, Massachusetts. As a young boy he became fascinated with the craft of writing after reading Edgar Allan Poe’s, “The Raven”. Inspired, he sought out other depicters of darkness, despair, and redemption, allowing himself to be drawn into the fictitious worlds of mystery and adventure penned by the likes of Poe, Robert Louis Stevenson, Mickey Spillane, Dashiell Hammett, and Ross Macdonald.

At the age of ten, Leith began writing short stories and poems that naturally tended toward the macabre. Two years later he wrote his first novelette, Gerry the Germ, the tale of a lowly life-form who finds his purpose within the grand scheme through tragedy and loss.

Leith went on to write several novels (slated for future publication) before focusing on a number of related stories that eventually became The William Snow Series, consisting of Beneath The Bridge, The Stones of Mirabella, The Finding Man, The Death of Harry Crow, and The Man in the Moon.

Leith lives in the western woods of Rhode Island.

Ace Aceto has been a comedian, actor, show producer, and podcaster. But he counts being a father of three as his greatest accomplishment. When his youngest daughter Maddie lost one of her front teeth, she seemed more inquisitive about the tooth fairy than after losing previous teeth. When she couldn’t get the answers from anyone else, she decided to find out for herself. So, she disappeared to her bedroom and an hour later came back with 18 note cards with questions for the tooth fairy to answer, and the concept of his first book was born.
